Do they serve Halal seafood??
Disappointing to say the least. Went here on a last minute whim because I was starving and even that didn’t make it taste any better. I got the mixed shawarma platter - the salads were sitting in a puddle, the pita was shredded and the meat was SO dry yet SO greasy. Look at the photo, you can’t tell me the meat doesn’t look dry. With so many great food options in this area, I can’t say I would ever come here again.
MoreOne of the best shawarma one can have in the lower mainland
Lots of quantity for the meal. Individually the ingredients were all good, but it didn't taste as good as Lebanese/Dubai style shawarma
MoreVery delicious and flavourful! Their sauce/ chili paste is to die for! The lamb was succulent, not dry at all. The they do not skimp out on the portions! I would support a mom 'n' pop joint any day!
MoreThe pita bread with the spicy garlic sauce is next level. A platter will fill you up if you are super hungry and it can be enough for 2 meals. Great spot and alternative to eating at the Metrotown food court.
MoreWe had the shawarma wrap and falafel platter, the portion was good and the service was fast, prices are reasonable
MoreIt was good before like 2002/ 03 but getting more smelly yesteday we went was smelling so bad idk what was that smell inside the resturent dosent feel loke eating there .. so sad
MoreTop notch falafel. Freshly made and deep fried until crispy. Mediocre toppings but excellent hot sauce. Super friendly staff!
MoreFood is delicious and halal. Falafel is great also.
Great fresh cooked falafel, generous portions and good prices. Not a fancy spot but a definitely favourite of mine for a cheap meal that's a cut above.
MoreGreat service but their menu could use some sprucing ad the sauce was expired, I would revamp the place and make it more clean, use gloves when serving and maybe have lids on food that's on display so it's more sanitary.
MoreIn my opinion the best lamb shawarma in Greater Vancouver
Been coming here for years now. The food has been always good. You have to try the mix platter. Donair sometimes hard to eat cause it falls apart easily. Service is okay, could be a bit better.Parking right in front or inside crystal mall parking lot.
MoreDelicious Donairs
Shawarma wrap is good but could be made even better. A lot of Shawarma places have come up in the city offering better taste
MoreLove their platters. Good price.
The chicken Sharma was good, really liked the sauces in the pita. You get a lot of food on one platter.
MoreThe quality of the meat, garlic and hot sauces, fresh falafel, and hummus (usually) is brilliant.. it really is a local place that’s been around for almost 20yrs. I think the best places are sometimes a bit rough around the edges, if you agree this place is for you.
MoreVery delicious but a bit pricey
my go-to place, must ask for spicy!
Amazing food. Of the best shawarma sandwiches I've had in a long time. Taste is great. Not to spicy. I'd definitely come here again!
MoreExcellent as always! Customized with all 3 proteins mixed together in my shwarma 😁. 6 min wait time. Well worth the drive from Squamish.
MoreI asked for wrap and what i got looks like a bull poop. Just to be clear, wrap is supposed to be something you can bite, not something which spreads everywhere. Taste? Terrible. I’ve never tasted such a nasty food like this.
MoreWaited 30 minutes for a falafel, as they forgot to give me my order. However the food was pretty good. I likely won't come back as it wasnt good enough to warrant a 30 minute wait.
MoreFood is great with a reasonable price.I like their shawarma 🥙. Around 10 dollars you can get a balanced meal packed with vegetables and protein.Although I must say, the meat near the end of the day is kinda dry.
MoreThe food doesn't taste bad to me. The 2 stars is because there's only ever one person working at this spot and they refuse to wear gloves when handling your food. Meaning they handle cash, pick their nose, etc... then start hand making a pita wrap.
MoreSmall location but it offers some great middle eastern sandwiches! The lamb shawarma had all the right spices, but the roasting was pre-done and not served of the spit. The spicey option packs a punch! Best to have it with a salty yogurt drink to tame the heat.
MoreIf you want great food, delicious but optional mouth burning spicy sauce, and fresh falafel, this is your place! Hiding in plain sight at Crystal Mall, it's a must try eatery in the heart of Burnaby.
MoreStaff is friendly and the food is good... but unfortunately I had to stop ordering from this shop because I cannot get over the lack of Food Safe standards. Staff is wearing gloves but would process your payment, splash/rinse their same gloved hands in the sink (no soap) and then start making your food (at times did not even try to 'wash' their hands). I really like their food but not enough to risk my health.
MoreLove the authentic taste and the home made sauces, separates it from all the other places.
MoreThis is one of my favourite little places to grab a bite to eat. Abdul’s has reasonable prices, friendly service and AWESOME food! Best falafel in the city!
MoreI've been going to Abdul's since the dawn of time! (Or at least it feels like that) Abdul has consistently had great service (as long as he is the one making the Shawarma) and even better tasting food. Although prices have crept up in recent years, quality of the food remains. I can never get enough of his hummus. If you get a shawarma here, or even a meat platter, ask for tahini sauce on it. You won't regret it.
MoreAmazing authebtic taste. Very spicy
It is a serious contender for the best shawarma in the city. The pitas are amazing, and when you want it spicy they make it spicy. Side dishes are the real deal and the meat is full of flavour and rich in texture. The biggest problem is how expensive it can be, but for the quality it might be understandable.
MoreDoesn't take American Express but food is okay, just a bit overpriced.
Tastes like dry cow.. Dry hummus dry rice dry bread... Not for me... No disrespect to any of the people that work there....
MoreBest shawarma in town!Spicy is SPICY! They toned it down recently, but it’s still hard to handle. The plate is a LOT of food.
MoreBest Shawarma ever. Excellent customer service
Nice Halal food near Metropolis mall. Chicken and Meet Shawarma and Falafel.
Cheap and good portions but the meat felt like it was one hundred years old
Delicious and good portion size lamb shawarma I had in this place. We are new in this town but will definitely come back here again. Thanks Abdul.
MoreMy favorite food!Everything is soo delicious! The services is good and the stuff is friendly!
Morethis is my favorite place to get tabouli. also a fan of the Lamb shawarma
This joint is amazing! They make great quality food and provide friendly service! I have tried both the beef platter and lamb wrap. I personally prefer the beef platter but so far Ive had nothing but good food here! Great job 👍
MoreExcellent lamb shawerma. Good size, good amount, good price.
UPDATED FEB 2020They've been accepting debit now since they opened a new location a couple years back. Food is still of high quality however new faces bring new vibes to the place. ----This place is amazing and a gem of a spot found in Crystal Mall. I've been going here since 2004. They serve halal meats, their produce is aways fresh & pita bread soft. They have this hot sauce that comes in mild, medium & hot. Caution: even the medium sauce is hot for many people so unless you like to have your mouth burning, stay away from hot. The falafels are made to order so expect to wait 10-15 for those. Also, bring cash as that is their only accepted method to make payment.
MoreFresh, delicious authentic mediterean food. My favorite is the mix wrap shawarma Extra spicy. Beware, he's not kidding when he says it's spicy. Try at own risk haha
MoreGreat food.attebtive service and delicious food.
Went here for dinner on a Sunday evening. The food was different from your typical shawarma place. They have this garlic spread which they put on their pita and the meat is sliced thinly. The restaurant seems runned down but is clean.
MoreOne of these wraps can feed two people... And be careful of their hot sauce, super tasty, but SUPER spicy!
